Lisa was born in France, then moved to Brazil when she was 3. She was always very smart and got a scholarship to Harvard her senior year. "Do you think they'll win the case?" I asked. "Oh they have to, I think that they have good evide-" Andrew was interupted. "Can you guys pleeeaase stop talking about work. We are out to lunch so you will get away from your job." Said our son Lucas. He flipped his hair back out of his face and he had a sly grin on his face. "Lucas, you really need a haircut. I'll schedule one soon." I told him and made a mental note. "Mooom. I don't want one. I like my hair long. Helps with the ladies." He said. Andrew laughed. "Oh please." I said and took a bite of my salad. "So did you hear Karen...uh Lauren has another one on the way?" I asked. "Didn't she just have a kid?" Asked Lucas. "I thought so. I heard her and Homer aren't having the best of luck with their relationship." Said Andrew. "Oh, I hope they work it out. She is so nice. I saw her out to lunch the other day with that new girl. She is so young. And she has like a 16 year old. Is that her kid?" I asked. "Oh, thats uh...Re-Ra....It starts with an R. She goes to my school. Thats her aunt or something." Said Lucas. After another half hour of talk Andrew and I had to head back to work. We said good bye to Lucas and went back to the office.
"The jury has come to a decision. We find the defendent..." Said one of the jurers. I was sweating, I swear. I had changed into a suit outfit for the unexpected announcement on the Peterson case we had been working on. "Not-guilty." I smiled. I got a ton of congradulations walking out of the court room with the client. We walked into an office to discuss the payments. "Since I did this case personally, it will cost more, you know. We already discussed this, yes?" I asked. "Yes we did. And I'm willing to pay, since we won. Thank you so much." Said Jessica, the client. "No problem. So after talking it over with my husband we agreed on a price." I said. We talked over everything and I finished up for the day and went home.
"Noodles again?" Whined Lucas. "Eat it or eat nothing." I said and put some noddles on a plate and put alfredo sauce on it. "You should like this, its alfredo." I said. "I was kidding mom, you know I love noodles, I inherited it from you. So where's dad again?" He asked and flipped his hair out of his face. "He has a really really big court hearing tommorow and he has to prep. If he wins that will pay for our trip to France." I said smiling. "I think he will, he has great evidence." I said. "I hope so, I want to go to France again. Paris was beautiful. Except the whole women not shaving bugs me." He said and ate a fork-full of noodles. We both laughed. It was nice having a dinner with just Lucas. Sadly, they are getting more frequent, and I do like times with Andrew. At that moment my phone beeped. It was from Andrew and I smiled.

I pressed the end button and put my phone down. "What are you doing next Friday?" I asked Lucas. "I'm going to Daniels. We're throwing a party for Annie, its her 16th. I told you and you said that would be okay, is it still alright?" He asked. "Yeah, and good. Your dad and I got a date." I said and smiled. That's why we're married, I remembered. It's like he read my mind.
I cleaned off the table and went up to my room to look over some cases then I headed off to bed.

"You look really great tonight." Said Christen. "Really? I feel so under-dressed. But thank you, so much." I replied. I wasn't as dressed up as I usually was because I was leaving the next morning to go back to London for my sister's wedding. "So your a bridesmaid?" Ask Christen looking over out at the water from our table. Helena and Dan had gone outside right after they ordered to talk, although I was pretty happy because I wanted to talk to Christen alone, it was fun. "Yeah, I can't believe it. I am so excited. I bet my mums gonna cry." I said. "I bet even my mums gonna cry." He said and we both laughed. My and Christen's moms were good friends, so she would probably be there. "I wish you and Dan could come." I said. "Take lots of pictures, I want to see the dress your sisters gonna make you wear." He said laughing. "Oh don't make fun of me, I know its going to be hideous. My sister trys to be fashionable, but it turns out weird." I laughed. "Kind of like your clothing." I said smiling. "Just kidding, you are actually very nicely dressed tonight. Fancy casual." I said. "I think you'd win the looks contest." Said Christen winking. We both laughed. "So how was the table while we were gone?" Asked Helena. "Funny." I said smiling. "Well the table always looks funny when Christen's here." Said Dan. We all laughed. "Your just jealous of my hair, you always have been." Christen said sticking his tounge out. We talked and ate dinner and laughed tons more. After that Dan and Helena walked to get ice cream so Christen and I walked on the pier. "So how long are you going to be gone?" He asked. "A week." I said looking around at the sky. "I'll miss you." He said nervously. I smiled and looked at him and he smiled. "I'll miss you too." I said. "But it's great that you get to see your family and everything, and that your sister is getting married, that'll be nice." He said. We stopped we leaned on the railing. "Yeah, I think my mums excited to be going back to London. My sisters going to live there, you know. She found a flat with Kenny and shes super excited." I smiled. "Thats great, you can visit her in the summer then and stay there...if she'll let you." He said and laughed. "Yeah, but it'll be weird not seeing your or Dan for a week. I mean the most I haven't seen you guys is like 4 days." I said. "Yeah, but it'll be fun. And stop worrying about it, have fun now." He said and grabbed my hand, then quickly let go. "Oh I'm sorry, that was so akward wasn't it, I shouldn't have done that. Oh my gosh, Remy, I'm-" he stopped when I grabbed his hand again and we walked to the end of the pier and sat on the bench that faced the city. He put his arm around me and we talked some more. Out of all the people, I wouldn't expect Christen., but it was so nice.
We walked back to land holding hands again and we kept talking. He drove me back to the dorm and we walked upstairs to it. I opened the door to find Helena still not back. "Well your all packed, thats great." He said. "Yeah. I think I have everything." I said. "I hope I do at least." I said smiling. "I'll miss you, but have fun. Okay?" He said. "Don't worry, I'll try. And I'll miss you too." I said and he gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Bye, have fun." He said and walked back down the stairs. I changed into my PJs and got something from the vending machine on the floor then fell asleep watching TV.
